Today I’m doing a presentation about owls. OWLS!!!!
Owls have special ways of seeing and hearing that teach us about how seeing and hearing work.
That’s my one-sentence, explain-it-to-a-4th-grader summary of the presentation.
I look forward to the class staring at me, unimpressed, as I stumble through the bizarre details of the neuropsychological world of owls. The professor will be duly unimpressed, and once again I will walk out of the room thinking I just put in hours and hours putting together a presentation that sucked anyway.
